How might we create a one-stop community information resource for new residents in Toronto?
There are lots of resources available for people who have recently moved to Toronto. They may not be aware of these resources. This could result in frustration and feelings of isolation.
We aim to aggregate existing community resources based on the experiences of new residents of the city. Research shows awareness of these resources is low.
The first thing that new residents look for is a wifi connection. The proposed solution is to partner with Greater Toronto Airport Authority, to make our resource available on screens in the baggage claim area, service desks in the arrivals area, as well as the home screen after a wifi connection has been established.
